Welcome to the Mayer School of Irish Dance!

The Mayer School was founded in 1980. Since then the school has grown to cover three states and classes are held every day of the week. Children and young adults can take classes and learn Irish dance in the Chicagoland area, St.Louis, Northwest Indiana and Galena, Il. 2007 Oireachtas Results

The Mayer School of Irish Dance was well represented at 2007 Mid-America Irish Dance Championships held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare over the Thanksgiving weekend. We had 5 World qualifiers, 14 National qualifers and 17 of our dancers recalled. It's the mark of a good dancer to qualify for the Oireachtas, so to our dancers who didn't recall — keep your chin up, keep practicing, and work hard to qualify for next year's championships.
